Helsinki Pride Week will be celebrated from June 23 to June 29, 2025. The week will culminate on June 28 with the Pride Parade and a park celebration in the city center. In recent years, the event has attracted over 100,000 participants.
The tradition of Pride parades in Finland began in 1981. Helsinki Pride is Finland’s largest human rights and cultural event, featuring a vibrant program shining in all the colors of the rainbow. Helsinki Pride events are open to everyone, and most of the program is free of charge. The Pride parade, which starts at 12 PM from Senate Square, is a joyful, colorful, and loud demonstration in support of equality and equity for sexual and gender minorities.
