Turku

The ships that arrive in Turku pass the nature conservation area of Ruissalo before mooring next to the medieval Turku Castle, which is within walking distance of the city center.

The arrival to the Port of Turku is an exciting navigation through the largest archipelago in the world, consisting of approximately 50 000 islands.

As a 870-year old port, Port of Turku is not only a natural stop between other fascinating and historical  Baltic Port cities, but offers also a gateway to a city with a very long shipbuilding history, that is still going strong.

The Port operates passenger vessels and cargo vessels all year around and welcomes cruise ships providing full service in all seasons.

Port of Turku is a small and exclusive port with no congestion, offering cruise ships a personal, efficient and taylor made service.

Vessels up to 130m lenght can be moored in the heart of the city (in the Aura river) and the passenger port can welcome vessels up to 238m.

The Port of Turku is aiming to have a new quay available for cruise vessels in 2027 that is even closer to the city centre.
